Hello All,
I'm new to this forum, found it while searching for car cleaning products. Looks like there is a ton of good information on this forum so I will be busy reading for a while. My goal is to learn to clean and care for my 3 cars. I own the following vehicles:
2005 Cadillac Escalade - Daily driver, has a few scratches but paint still looks very good. It is a dark blue color.
2003 Nissan Maxima - Daily driver, the most neglected of my three cars, sits in the driveway under the neighbor's tree that spills tree sap all over it. Paint is in pretty good condition, some chips and scratches on this one as well. The color is "Titanium Silver".
1987 Buick Grand National - My hotrod that I've owned for a few years. The paint is about 6 years old, few paint chips on header panel and front bumper but otherwise paint is in great condition. There are lots of swirl marks in the black paint that I need to get out.
Some questions that I'm looking answers for:
How best to hide or get rid of swirl marks?
Is there any way to hide light paint chips?
Is there a buffer that a beginner like me can use and not damage the paint?
Thanks,
Jay
