Cleaned up a Tundra for a repeat customer today. He was concerned about the amount of gloss and lack of protection. Upon arrival it was clear that the paint was pretty oxidized.
Time and customer budget only allowed for a 1-step correction to remove the oxidation and restore the gloss.
Sorry for the lack of pictures in this one, it was cold and cloudy.
Befores
Zero reflection, just chalk-ness
Took forever to perform decon:
Foam→Dwell→Rinse→Crevices cleaned up with APC and Swissvax brush
Foam→2BM wash→Rinse→Iron Cut→Wash→Rinse
Clay→Rinse→Wash→Rinse→Dry….FOREVER
Iron cut – not great lighting outside today
Test section on driver’s rear door
Close-up of the same area – gloss restored
Driver’s side complete
Not only did the tires require much work to remove the muck, the rims were nasty
Before
After
Afters – sorry but the sun was gone all day and it was starting to get dark
Chrome really came out looking good
Thanks for looking!
