I want to say that this is the best forum I've visited in regards to detailing cars. I registered instantly. I just bought a used car which has horrible swirl marks (the car is black, so it's easy to see). I was looking up ways to get rid of the swirls and found this place. I also found out that I've been washing my cars wrong. This is great for the information, but not so great on the wallet as I now have a huge shopping list for products. Keep up the great work and teachings.

I know what you mean about black cars - I have had way too many and Detailed a few hundred more... I know, I know,... :)

Perhaps you will find that you are close to someone else here and perhaps you can get some help along the way..

You're certainly in the right place. I, too, have a black car with soft paint. I've learned so much from this site to keep it looking its best. A pain to maintain, but so rewarding to look at when it's been detailed properly.
 
Welcome to the life of never being satisfied with your product stock and appearance of your (and other people's) vehicle. There are so many examples of near perfection on this forum you will perpetually seek out improvements. Cheers!
