New guy from SoCal

Hey everyone, new guy from socal, I been doing some detailing as a hobby for some time now but I want to able to learn new stuff from this site and improve skills. I'm also thinking about getting a mobile detailing service going, but i have some questions if anyone can answer. In California we have a drought issue and are strict about using water, so how do mobile detailers in CA deal with this issue?? I heard from someone that you can purchase using deionized water is that true? Or is it pretty much wasting water also?? I heard they start giving off tickets for your washing your car if its not on a specific day I believe, I still do it hoping a cop doesn't pass by haha. If anyone can clear that out with me I appreciate it thanks :howdy

Same question here I've only been doing this 2 and a half years and I'm starting to hear about it a lot more now lol maybe start a waterless wash program or something? Have you heard of HD touch? It is waterless wash I've been selling that to my customers and they love it !

So have you been using water for your washes and doing the waterless wash as well??? I'll look into that though.
