Hello everybody! My name is Scott from North Carolina. I have always had a passion for cars but I am new to detailing and I would like to learn more!! My current car is 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. I am having some problems with the paint, particularly on the roof. I will post some pictures of the car and the issues with the paint... I could really use some advice! I believe it is just severe oxidation and sun damage is the cause but I could be wrong.. Thanks guys.

And that looks mostly like oxidation with the oils from the rubber seals seeping across the paint. The best way to clean the seals will be with tuff shine tire cleaner and a toothbrush. Toothbrush so you don’t scratch the paint. When done washing try some polish or an aio by hand or a da if you have one. If you’re looking for a da the best bang for the buck with life time warranty is the griots garage 6” da.
