New Guy and Question about Abrasiveness

I recently picked up a porter cable 7424xp, and a 2004 Accord. The paint isn't perfect, but it's not terrible either. There are some minor swirl marks I can see if I look closely in the sun. There are also a few scratches to the plastic on the front and rear bumper, but fixing that will have to wait. I also recently bought a bunch of car detailing supplies, including various lake country pads and some polishes. I have Groit's #2 and #3 polish, as well as Mothers power polish. Obviously The Groit's #2 is more abrasive than the #3, but I'm wondering where the Mothers Power Polish falls in. I guess I want to use the least abrasive product that will get the job done, so I'm wondering if I should start with the Power Polish or Groit's #3 (and then move to the #2 if it doesn't work). After that I plan to use some Meguiar's show car glaze #7 followed by Groit's Pre-Wax Cleanser followed by Mothers California Gold Carnuba wax. Thanks in advance for any advice.
