Hey everyone! I'm a driveway detailer from the burbs near Houston, Tx.
Me and my buddies were big detailing nuts back in High School (almost 20 yrs ago) and I have just gotten back into it with my new car ('05 Mazda 3) 2 years ago. With a string of really uninspiring used cars and then a dreaded minivan over the past 20 years, my love for detailing kinda fell by the wayside.
But I'm back and I just got a brand new '07 Super Black Nissan Altima 3.5SE with blond leather interior that I can't wait to get all OCD about. Its actually my wife's car, so she will get all the benefit.
Anyway, looking forward to all the tips. This will be my first black car, so I'll need all the tips about angel hairs and swirl marks that I can get my hands on.

Welcome to the site! You could spend hours searching and reading about how to remove swirl marks. Is there anything specific you'd like to know?

Welcome from Killeen Tx.

Used to have family in Stafford, they just moved to Bellaire.

We go down there at least 5 times a year

We were just in Cloverdale/Healsburg this past weekend. You've got some beautiful country out there. We took an awesome scenic drive up the Redwoods Hwy to the coast around Mendocino, then down the coast to Stewart's Point. Then we took this insane little road from Stewart's Point back to Hwy 101. That would have been an amazing drive in something other than our rented PT Cruiser convertible.

With everything I've read so far, I'm totally geeked out about undoing the "detail" that the dealership did before delivering my new car. We got it the day before we headed out of town, so I haven't had a chance to get after it yet. Tomorrow is booked solid for the new Altima.

Welcome to DC! With your enthusiasm and a little bit of research and reading, I'm sure those swirls won't stand a chance. I hope you enjoy your stay.

Welcome from Porter/Kingwood...the good side of the city. :D Just let me know if you want to come over for some tips.

I'm sorry I'm gonna have to ask you to leave. Detail City has way too many Texans on here already.

:D Glad to have you here. If you get a chance to meet Chris (TexasTB), smack him upside the head for me, he needs it for not going with my business card.

Troy
