Happy holidays to all. First post from new member. I am looking forward to learning all the tricks from all of you.

I have had all colors of cars over the years and the latest acquisition is a white mercedes wagon. My question (other than washing it everyday....) is what is the best approach for a solid white paint job - not a pearlescent. I want it to be smooth, and slick. I plan on detailing it from bumper to bumper, but I want the correct approach. Thank you all !!

:welcome to Autopia MBaholic!

At the top of the page is a "how to" box that will lead you to several articles on car care:

You might want to read about proper washing and then claying. If you have any further questions post them in the "Car Detailing" forum and we'll try to help you out.
