New Fiat 500 Sport

Been a long time since I last posted! A few weeks ago I bought a 2012 Fiat 500 Sport. Black (Nero) with red and black leather seats. Like a true addict I washed it the weekend I bought it and applied a coat of PB Polish w Sealant. Skip ahead two weeks and I washed and waxed....

Wheels:
PB APC diluted
PB SSS
Various brushes
Final finish topped Tires with PB Bold n Bright

Wash
two bucket of course
PB SSS
Dryed with leaf blower

Wax: well, the paint is black (Nero) and has flecks of color. A long time back I got (I think I won it) a sample of Dodo Juice Diamond White. Been on my shelf ever since. It is designed for light color paint but says it is good on pearlesence so I thought it might help the flecks of color to shine.

Got to say I loved the smell and ease of use. Went on easy and buffed off super easy! I think the finish came out very nice. I am tempted to try the Purple Haze or Blue Velvet now but concerned it would darken the flecks not make them pop.

This was done Saturday. This evening I took a MF and bottle of Clearkote Quik Detail spray and did a fast buff. Looks really clean!

Thanks for viewing!

It is way fun to drive. Was tempted to get the Arbath model but could not justify the cost. The sport still has nice zip to it.

Car looks sweet !!!

I will admit to wanting either the new Turbo version or the Abarth. Just not sure if I will pull the trigger.

I really wanted the Turbo but for a number of reasons I did not want to wait for their arrival in TX for sale. The Arbath is really cool, but I did not want to spend that much plus the plan is for this car to go to my son in 5 or 6 years. I didn't want a first time driver behind the wheel of an Arbath!

Got an Update on the Fiat Detail.

Yesterday (Saturday) the Fiat was clean, just a little dust here and there. I still have some 1Z Detail Spray I rarely use. Not because it is no good I just have others I go to first. Anyway, I did a quick wipe down. All looking good.

Today I go out to run some errands and it starts to rain. The rain stops partway home but the streets are still very wet.

Pull in the garage and notice the car is barely wet! The hood and roof are dry! I grabbed the 1Z detail spray and do a quick wipe down to dry the sides and back that had little water.

I mention the 1Z because it is the last thing on the car. But I suspect the reason for the dry car is the Dodo Juice! Can that be? If so, I think I will buy more. Maybe try the Purple Haze or Blue Velvet!
