That's one interesting statement!

Hold on let me get ready for the Rupes knock-off discusion to follow... :popcorn

Marketing 101.

I did not realize that AG sells Torq polishers.

I wonder how many Torq DA's have been sold? You don't hear too many people talking about them. I held it at SEMA last year and didn't care for the digital controls/ amount of vibration.

But they said it's "smooth".........

Ok, just wait for the "wax Wasters Polisher". It'll be the smoothest, fastest thing around.

I can't stand that digital control, you have to reset the speed every time you turn the machine on (at least that's how it is on the 8mm tool)!

Ron can you make yours better please?

Can you translate that into Chinese please. Then I'll forward it. Since they just devalued their currency, I should probably put it out at 199.00.

So for that price does it have to be better?

oh man digital controls? are they doing the same thing to Polishers as they are to cars? digitize everything for "convenience" and forget about good old reliable and simple mechanical operations? I'm gonna stock up on brand new polishers and keep them in my closet :P

I love how they sent me an email about it... and then sent me another one saying "Oops, this is the right email!" or something weird like that. It was the exact same email both times... and both of them had a paragraph repeated. I really need to unsubscribe from that mailing list... I don't even know how I got signed up. lol

Torq or Boss, I'll stick to my Rupes. Speaking of Griots, there is another site with Griots products on clearance. I've never used any Griots products, but does anyone know why their new Boss products would be on clearance so soon?
