New Carrera Lug Nut Brush

Well after reading the reviews the foam doesnt last that long. That kinda sucks cause I was going to buy this.

I've used my lugnut brush quite a bit and haven't had to change the foam yet. It is a great tool to add to the arsenal. I think they need to make a larger one for the 3/4 ton and up trucks. Mine didn't fit on the last Dually I did.

For recessed lug nuts, it is a nice timesaver!

Biz, I have looked at the reviews and frankly can't imagine how someone could destroy the foam in anything resembling normal usage cleaning lug nuts. The statement of the product needing two hand to use also made me wonder how it was being used. I looked for years for something to clean the insides of the lug nut cavities easily and find this brush to be a great value. I have been using this lug nut brush for months on two different cars. I also own the "LUG NUT BRUSH" which is more expensive. I think for the $6 this is a bargain, not perfect but very good. The foam has been no issue for me. Remember that if you do buy one and do not think it is a good tool, return it for a refund. Thanks for your input.

I like it and it's easy to replace

I found this lug nut brush about 5 months ago while browsing through the Harbor Freight store down the street. Some forum sponsors are calling it the Carrrera brush others are calling it the Vette brush. I will admit though, it may look a little cheap, and I find myself having to pre-push, if you will, the foam into the lug hole to get the foam all the way to the end of the lug. All in all this was a good buy for me because I don't know what they sell for online, but when I bought mine they were $3.95. When I went to the shop and used it on some cars, it worked well, so everytime I'm in HF I'll buy one or two. Now that I know that their selling them at PAC, hopefully they have refills, because I never could find those at HF, as long as there not more than I pay for the complete kit. Like I said before, I've been using it awile, and the foam does last awhile, but after many uses you may have to push the foam into the lug hole manually or the plastic part of the lug brush will be hitting the metal or paint, that's just my experience. Someone should really remake this brush to commercial standards and it would be a real winner.
