I took delivery of a car I have been building in my head for since I was 14 years old. It is really a dream come true. 2011 911 Turbo S.

Alot of people here at Detail City helped educate me when I was just learnng and I thank them. Without that knowledge I would be messing this car up without even knowing it. Thanks Ron who gave me my first taste of polishing (Ron-notice the color :yay?), Steve-Poorboy Himself & Chris-AKA Pockets showed me life in chemicals beyond advanced auto-also the difference between MF towels, Patrick H who taught me never to give up on chasing perfection and Dave who shared his experiences with me and taught me showing up with a full heart and willingness to help will etch your soul in someones memory forever. My 1st forum was Autopia and after the PB detail weekend I discovered DC. Funny how they became one.

Thanks again to all the guys that taught me what I needed to know when I needed to know it. Still the student and working to perfect my hobby.

Not many convertibles. I've driven the T-s it's a great car. Did a write up on a blue one. Have lots of fun!!

If you get a chance check out Porsches to Oxford or P2O it's one of the largest Porsche gatherings. We should have the GT-3, Turbo S and one of the classics there. Like to see you there.

Dave, I sat in the dealer deliberating the color. They had a Black, black top and Black interior that was just so sick it could make you cry!:drool: Then I remebered how my infiniti looked that day on the showroom floor. Bottom line is I love Black cars but I want to spend more time drioving and less time polishing, I can make white look great with much less time/effort and that is what it came down to for me.

Thanks, and I only hope that as time goes on I can keep my engine compartment as clean as yours. I think about that shot every time I clean any engine compartment. Yours it the benchmark (that I will never hit!)

Been having some fun. This car can get you in some serious trouble! your aproaching the legal limit before you can take a breath! Worst part is now my DD feels like a diesel freight train. You really need to pay attention becasue you don't feel the speed.
