I just bought a 2000 Camaro SS. It is black and only has 10,000 miles on it and has never been in the rain. I just bought a PC 7424 and want to use it on it but dont want to screw anything up or make swirls or marring. I dont plan on polishing it i just want to use it to apply AIO and a good wax. I have a blue pad, is that good to apply AIO and wax, or is there something better? These are the products i have, AIO, UPP, and Natty blue. What speed and pressure would you use. Could you tell me step by step on what to do? Sorry about all the questions but i just dont want to screw up the paint or make swirls i want to keep this thing looking mint.

Well those are three of the best, good for you ! Is it a Sonus Blue? If so, you'll be fine with that....Swirls are impossible with those products, as none of them contain any abrasive. The Blue isnt as dense as some of the other pads, and its considered a light polishing/finishing pad anyway. With that fact, its my opinion pressure cant really be applied other then what the machine does, or you may end up damaging the pad....Also, if your using that pad, with those products, you shouldnt have a need for additional pressure anyway! Now that you have a PC, make sure your pad supports the product. Anyway............

After a good clay and wash (Your going to all this work, clay is worth the effort, and the end result is amazing) and proper drying, start with your AIO......David went to a lot of research and work, read this following article...

Hi Bobby I also have a black car and have had great results with that combo. A pc will not ruin your paint unless you try really hard. You can use the blue pad which I believe is a polishing pad. I have only used a white LC pad and but you can also use a finishing pad if you like. As for UPP or NATTYS BLUE it is totally up to you I have tried both and think they are great. I go for UPP since mine is parked outside 24/7. Up to you.

I apply AIO at 3.5 with no pressure and as for UPP I have never used it with a pc for fear of using too much product which leaves mean streaks with sealants. Hope this helps ;)

Bobby, No worries about removing the CC. The Sonus Blue pad is super mellow.I used the blue pad on my Black 01 SS many times.

But dont use the orange pad....Bad things happen !!!!

Actually, just take care of that beautiful car so it doesnt get stolen and totalled like mine :hairpull

No, I didnt want another persons SS if you know what I mean. My 01 had only 6000 miles on it when it was stolen. With a little influence from my wife, I bought a new 350Z.

Sealants are much more user friendly. NEVER seen streaks with sealants.
