New Car - full day sun exposure issues?

Ive lurked for years learning how to property detail my car and maintain its appearence with great results...when it came time to trade it in after 7 years, the dealer was amazed at the condition of the paint/interior...said it was better than most new rolling off the lot.

Anyway, the new car I bought is a white A4. Until today, I parked in covered parking daily, and garage it at night.

Now work said we are "leasing" the garage spaces out and you now get surface parking. Awesome.

I use Klasse AIO and sealant + carnuba on top for gloss every 2-3 months and havent really kept up to date on what might be better...AIO was the business 7 years ago.

Should I just expect the sun to mess up my finish over time? Is my new car doomed to look like crap after a few years because my company is trying to save money?

Thank god it is white. The same formula should work, I see no reason why it wouldn't. For durability, while I don't know where you live, a coating like Opti Coat maybe a more durable option. Look at some of the other threads on opti coat. You can top it if you want to.

PS: Nice car :)

Welcome to Autopia!

The Klasse twins should protect your paint just fine, and today's automotive paint is tough stuff anyhow...being parked outside during work hours shouldn't hurt it a bit.
