New Canuck here

Greetings from Calgary, Canada. I've recently got a new car (well new to me anyway), and it's my dream car:

2004 Subaru STi in World Rally Blue.

It's the first car I've had that was really worth detailing, so I've been surfing your forums for weeks now and did my first attempt at a proper detail this last weekend.

Wanted to introduce myself, and I'll be posting some questions about what I did wrong soon.

Thanks

Welcome to Autopia! Good thing you detailed your car cause I'm sure it will be getting pretty friggin cold in the next couple months. Feel free to ask away on any the forums to help you improve your skills. Good luck.

Welcome to Autopia too!

Forum members here are very helpful so you'll get a ton of help keeping the STI looking perfect.

I've never driven a Subi but I've seen this dark gray STI on the streets around here and I drool quite a bit every time I see it. it just looks so very menacing but I must say, the guy keeps it looking good and drives very calmly. Not so calm on the track I'm thinking.

I can see why it's your dream car and I'm envious.

Once you drive one you'll never look back :tongue2: It doesn't have to be an STi either - I got hooked taking the non-turbo Impreza RS for a test drive. Even though that one doesn't have much power, it just does what you want it to do. They definitely make cars for drivers.

Thanks for the compliments on the car. Now I just have to keep it looking good!

Interesting observation! and your right, there is a sort of bond that was created......when? (most likely when alcohol was more widely distributed)
