Haha.... it's been a while since I did one of these.. (or an Excalade, Expedition, etc.!!!)

Man, this thing is big.

She wanted the interior done, plus wash and sealant.. no paint correction.

Process:

Washed with Meg's Gold Class (No foam gun yet!)
Dried with leaf blower/Absorber
Cleaned wheel wells with APC and a toilet brush
Cleaned wheels/tires with APC
Dressed tires/lower cladding with Chem Guys VRP
Sealed with Blackfire Wet Diamond X2
Interior glass with Invisible Glass
Cleaned plastic/vinyl with APC
Cleaned leather with Z9
Treated plastic/vinyl with CG/VRP
Treated leather with Z10
Vacuumed
Cleaned "crud" spots on carpet/mats with Purple Power and a carpet brush
Door jambs cleaned with APC, paint brush, rinsed, rubber treated with PBB&B

Lots of Square Footage in this Baby!!!:scared:

But I remembered the last one I did so I priced it right!

5.5 hours on the interior, 2 hours on the exterior (wash & sealant x2, no paint correction). Probably should have clayed, but she didn't want to pay for the extra 45 minutes to clay. Saved her about 30 bucks on a $320 detail. :banghead::eek::out:

Definitely a lot of area to cover on those things. Leather takes a lot of time to clean and when you factor in the 3rd row seats it really adds up...not to mention all the carpet and vinyl.
 
I couldnt get the interior of my truck that dirty even if I tried.:scared:

Yeah, it's hard for a detailer to understand driving in that kind of crud every day.

I'm like you... if my floormats have a little dirt on them, I'll take take them out, brush them and put them back in... takes 2 minutes!!!

I also cant understand how people can sit in that kind of crud for hours at a time. Once I got this HP60 Extractor, I was and am still amazed at how much dirt remains in all carpeted areas even after you vacuum the heck out of it. I think that all that dirt just gets in and probably blows back in the air everytime you are in the car.. Yuck... :)
The customer had to be so pleased to actually see the real color of the interior again on every part - you did an awesome job !

Man, I don?t know about anyone else, but 7.5 hours is fast! :eek:
It takes me 3 days to get my car ready for a car show.
Thank God, I do not do detailing for a living!! :tongue:

Virtually all of my customers are on a budget. No one gives me an open checkbook. Here in the midwest (Kansas City Area), even the most affluent customers start squirming when the number $400 comes up.

So I give them a lot for their money, charge $40 per hour and work my a** off. (Great Cardio workout BTW!)

You did an amazing job.... I am new to detailing forums and i am having a hard time with all this abbreviation... i have to keep the abbreviation page up when i read around... lol feels like i am in a foreign country and its like wait, let me look that up.. :banghead:

If I can find a "detailing glossery of abbreviations" I'll post it.:D
 
It never gets old to stop and look at how someone can let such a nice and expensive car/truck get sooooooo dirty on the inside. WOW great job
