Just got a 99 Silverado recently. I've been having problems about the air filter. Anyone knows how to remove and replace it with a new one? The car still runs great on about 75,000mph. Any help will be very much appreciated.

75,000mph? what you got in there? I don't remember how the Silverado's are but I believe it's just a couple of clips on the side of the air box that pop off the top cover and the filter sits right there. If it we're me I'd replace the OEM filter with a K&N kit, so much easier to access the filter.
Changing the air filter on a car is one of the best and easiest things you can do. I changed the one on my car in about 5 minutes and 4 of those were spent trying to get the clips unclipped and reclipped. I would definitely upgrade to a K&N filter or whole intake. The filters have lifetime warranties. All you have to do is clean em once or twice a year.
