I just wanted to know what you think of these swirls. Are they bad or will thay be easy to take out. The paint is soft and SS.

white pad and some polish along with a PC should take that out.

You need to be more specific.

There isnt an industry standard on what color the pads are in reference to their cut.

You say "some" polish, that really narrows it down. There are hundreds of manufactures with different abbrasive cuts of polish.

Git ya wool pad and some 3M Super Rubbing Compound 39004, work it in easy with a rotary on about 2500 rpm.............................JUST KIDDIN! I wouldn't touch it if it was mine, looks pretty darn good.

Even thought the marring is very light it would not be acceptable on *my* personal vehicles so i understand his want for getting rid of them.

menzerna FPII or OC or megs 80 should take care of those for you...with a light polishing pad. only reason I say 80 is because it supposedly works well on SS paint according to scottwax...and i know it works fairly well on clear coats as well...

but i agree....I wouldnt polish that out, I am not that OCD, but then again, I would just use a good glaze with some fillers, which I plan on doing next sunny day wash because my truck is starting to look like that after about 6-8 washes since last polish job, and one ONR wash

do you have any better lighting to reveal the swirls? I'm sure if you hit it with a brinkmann or some halogens we will be seeing a different story here.
