Need transporter

Can anyone recommend a good, reliable, auto transport company? I need to get a vehicle from Arkansas to Long Island. I've heard some horror stories so any help would be appreciated.

A-1 Auto has, on several occasions, provided fine service to move new and used vehicles. They offer open or enclosed transport, and you can save a little money by taking your vehicle to their terminal.

Never any problems, but I find that vehicle transport can really stretch the concept of "ETA".

I've learned to not use a transport broker.

Make sure the company you chooose has their own trucks.

Good luck

Here's another vote for Horseless Carriage. They've moved stuff for me from all over- never a problem. They *are* sorta hard to nail down on delivery dates, though. Be sure to talk to the dispatcher if you use them. I forget his name, but he's the only guy there who really knows when the drivers will be where.

And what Mmmph said about making sure that whoever you use has their own trucks :xyxthumbs A *lot* of trasport companies don't, but they don't tell you that.

Well it is funny because my BF works for GE Fleet which is the world largest fleet leasing company and he works directly with a company called Amerifleet and they do a great job. He even details their cars in the Twin Cities area when they need it. If you want PM me your starting zip code, ending zip code and what type of vehicle and he said he can get you a quote today.

He also said that he has heard good things about AutoDrive away.

Here to help if you need it

Just shipped a car from NJ to South Fla, as the truck pulled away I noticed the EZ Pass tag on the windsheild ( of my car). They all had ezpass tags..... you guessed it, I got billed for a bunch of tolls.... even the ones he made driving around picking up other cars. My advice, if you have one take it off before you ship
