Need some more advice!

hello everyone!



ok well i made a post similiar to this in autogeek.net's forum and figured i would do the same here.



If you had $100 to spend on cleaning supplies(ie. wash mitts, towels,brushes,shampoos,wax,etc) what would you buy. I Have a bucket and and hose.



Please include price and where i can get the product.

I am a noob at cleaning my car and it would be the first time i detail my car myself. I would be doing everything by hand becuase i do not know how to us a machine yet.

If you want to go for OTC (save on shiping) I would go with Meguiar's.

Wash - Gold Class Shampoo (around $12)

Prep - Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner ( around $10)

Polish - Deep Crystal Polish (around $10) or Color X (around $10)

LSP - NTX 2.0 (around $18)



If you want to order on line you can get Zaino Total Protection Sow Car Kit for $85 plus shiping.



For MF pick up Vroom brand at Target yellow drying towel should be $8 and grey 4 pack for paint around $10.



I know that there is a lot of products out there but you need to decide what is the best for you, and like probably many other autopians, soon you will have full shelves of car care products. There will be allway something that you will need to "TRY":grinno:

wash media = Lowes or Home depot GS



towels = viking (green quick detailing towel), gold x-large microfiber drying towel) , orange edgeless polishing cloth) at k-mart, which by the way the car accessories are 20% off (they also have some brushes) thru 10/13 IIRC (was just there today) and also kragen carries them. also, target has the vroom microfibers...



shampoos = megs gold class (walmart, target, etc...) Duragloss 901 car wash concentrate (carquest),



paint cleaner = megs deep crystal paint cleaner and scratchx (autozone, pepboys)



wax = collinite 476s & 845 (check your harbor freight if they still have it), megs nxt 2.0 (walmart, target, etc...) mothers reflections (pepboys)...



spray wax = Duragloss Aquawax (carquest) mothers fx spray wax (pepboys)



tire dressing = armor all tire shine gel (walmart, pepboys, etc...)



hmm, that's all i can think of at the moment...



p.s. start saving for a PC, you'll get better results and your arms will thank you LOL...
