Need Some Help

Hello all, Ive been reading around the past few days, learning some but confused at the same time. I have a 2002 Camaro with factory paint, (only 6k miles) theres some swirl marks only when in direct sunlight, theres also some what look to be minor scratches in certain areas, you cant feel them with you fingernail but the dont seem to want to come out, i bought a pc and some ardex foam pads and some ardex 1500 plus finishing material and hi line fine cut finishing compound (before I knew ardex wasnt so hot) So I tried these as recommended and they made the paint shine but did nothing for the scratches. So I went to the paint shop and got some 3m perfect-it 3000 rubbing compound and 3m perfect-it 3000 finale glaze along with a megs burgandy cut pad. The rubbing compound seemed to take most of the scratches out but still not all, and left a haze in certain spots, I followed that up with the final glaze and a polishing pad but it wouldnt take the haze out, but the fine cut ardex finishing compound did take it out. So my question is how do I go about the rest of the car with the materials I listed? I was thinking about this:

1: 3m Perfect-It 3000 Rubbing Compound / Megs Burgandy Pad

2: Ardex Hi Line Fine cut Finishing Compound / Green Ardex Light Cut Pad

3: 3m Perfect-It 3000 Final Glaze / White Ardex Polishing pad

4: Megs #26 Carnuba

I aslo have a blue pad for Soft Polish, If that might give me a better result in step 2 or 3

And finally the rubbing compound seems to dry up really quick is this normal ? I was using speed 5, and moving slow, doing a 2x2 area, and I sprayed the pad with a few shots of water first.

If you guys could just point me in the right direction that would be great, I dont understand how even with the compound and the aggressive pad I cant get all the scratches out when there not even that deep?
