Need some help with bird dropping issues please

Several days ago there was a 3-4 inch bird dropping on my hood. It was dark purple. I ran it through the car washed the next day and did not notice it didn't come off until later on after it had been in the sun. I tried different methods to get it off but it was sticky and thick. Ended up using a bug cleaner which seemed to work. Thought I was good to go but then Thursday saw there is a yellow stain still present. I do not know what to really use to get it off or if there is a trick or tip with it. Any ideas?

Try a chemical polish like poorboys pro polish and see if that helps. Soon,the longer it sits there, the more potential damage
 
A little compound on a microfiber towel by hand with light pressure should easily remove it. Use wax or sealant on the area when done.
 
If this is going to be an ongoing concern, you might consider a more bird-bomb-resistant LSP (yeah, I know...all b-b are different, but still..).
