Need rotary work in north Indy area

Hey Indianapolis detailers,

I've been an autopian for a while, but my pc has met its match on a used car I recently acquired, a whit e '94 eclipse. It's heavily swirled, and the pc with spots pads just isn't cutting it. I don't own a rotary, so I would like to find someone who does and could polish out the major swirls. I would like to do the finishing polish, lsp. and everything else myself, but I can't tackle the big swirls.

Thanks, Joshua

I've tried hi-temp extreme cut on 4in spot pads. I just got some wetsanding supplies, so I'm going to try those- if that doesn't pan out, I'll send you a pm.

Thanks, Joshua

you havent used a rotary and you got yourself some wetsanding supplies? id pm that indy guy if i were you instead. oh and like its been posted many time ec doesnt fully break down via pc. its a water based solvent intended for rotary use.

Top of the line's website states that you can use Extreme Cut via PC but it may take multiple applications to achieve the same results.

EC doesn't work well with regular pads, but it seems to break down correctly via 4in spot pads. I'm going go try a small spot wetsanding and see how that goes. If it goes well, then I'll do the car, if not, then I'll talk to n2_space.

well ive used it side by side with both rotary and pc, i went over once with rotary with great results and three times with pc and still not the same results, that leads me to believe its a rotary polish. but i dunno.

If you have not sorted this out yet, feel free to stop by our shop.

we'll be happy to evaluate the situation, and offer some tips...

Or, we'll just do the work. :)

Jim
