Need product advice for new paint

Hello, I recently purchased a new jet black Triumph Speed Triple motorcycle. I didn't see a lot of discussion in the motorcycle section. So, I hope it's OK that I posted in this one. The bike was in the showroom for a while and it has a few swirl marks on the tank and the painted plastic areas. I could really use some advice on what products to use (by hand) to correct the imperfections and also protect the paint. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks

When I had my CBR, I only used Plexus on it in between regual waxes. I washed and waxed once a year, since it mostly sat in the garage and never seen a drop of rain. For waxing, I used Pinnacle souveran..it is easy to apply and easy to remove, especially on the decals.
