Need Polishing/Finishing Pads

Hey everyone, I need some pads to apply my PwC and EX-P. This will be the first time I have ever done anything like this, and I'll be doing it by hand.

Is this something that would be usefull, or just cumbersome?

Otherwise, any recommendations on the best way to get the right pads? I will not need to remove any swirls or scratches....just a clay, polish then Sealant.

(My PwC and EX-P order is on its way, along with a Super Plush towel from PB to take off the polish. I think my CRV looks great just after wash/dry....I can't wait to see what these next steps will add!)

Hey Brad. I haven't tried it, but I enjoy using foam applicators. They are cheap and easy to clean. Both of those products work well by hand, and go on very easy. They also come off easily if you put them on too thick, and do not dust a lot. I would think the thing looks big and heavy.
If you are worried about coverage, two thin apps by hand are better than a device like that.
Do you have the plastic package on the bottom of your CRV? If not, I'm not sure if the polishing pal would be as easy to use in contours.
Let us know what you do.

The small foam applicators work great, but I seem to flip one across the room fairly often.
My favorite hand applicator looks a lot like this one.

I get them at Auto Zone for $2 or $3, can't remember for sure.

Brad, since you don't have any swirls to remove, the polishing action provided by the pads of the Polishing Pal probably won't make too much difference. You might as well get some cheap foam applicators, like the one Charles showed, and let the cleaners in PwC do their magic.
