Need help with what pads I need.

Ok I just bought Menzerna intensive polish and final finish they came in deal package . I have used it once and it came out pretty good! What was wondering is if I am using the right pads? my friend said that using wrong pads so I am little confused and wanted to check get your input. Ok for the intensive polish I was using orange pad and for final finish was using blue pad is that wright? I just ordered 3.5" Dual Action Flexible Backing Plate with some 4 inch pads ( yellow ,orange ,blue ,green) Which I heard will help speed up process intill I can save up enough for a Flex:spot.
