Chances are a repair shop can fix it. It might be expensive if they have to replace a panel. Someimes they can just "recoat" coated leather, but I don't know how long that type of repair will last.
Leatherique is a product that many people say will work wonders with damaged leather. There again, not cheap.

Ps. If it is cracked, it is probably leather, but I think the side bolsters on lots of leather interiors are vinyl. :dunno

i wish it was vinyl, but it's leather.
But yeah, i am gonna try leatherique.
I don't care about the price, i just spent 400$ this week on detailing products. :-)

As you probably know, the Right Look kit is a professional kit and is definitely over-kill. Both pricewise and product wise.

You might want to contact a professional in your area to get their opinion.

I've got a spot on my driver's side left bolster (right near my left-hand pants pocket) that's worn through & cracked, same goes for the right bolster on the passenger side.

From what I've read at a few Honda/Acura BB's, this is a common spot for the bolsters to wear.

Took it to a trim shop for a quote & they told me my leather seats are not 100% leather, rather they are "leather appointed" which means mostly leather. The spot that's worn is at a junction where leather is sewn to vinyl & it's the vinyl piece that's shot. The bolster is leather from the top of the seat down to pants-pockets level, then there's a small piece of vinyl that's about 5" x 6".

Gonna cost about $375 to have both worn vinyl pieces replaced with leather.

Ouch!
When I said it might be expensive, I had $100 in mind for the one piece. I only missed it by $87.50.:-p
