The receptionist at my dentist's office has a white Mitsubishi Galant that had specks of cement splashed on the front bumper, hood, side mirrors and windshield from a cement truck that spilled some of it's load on the interstate. The company said to fax them a written estimate. I have already cleaned all the stuff off the car which included a wash, claying of the above mentioned panels and steel wool on the windshield.
I am able to get a written estimate from my job and I need some advice on how to go about stating the procedures that were necessary. I'm trying to make as much as I can off of this job. For example... should I say clayed or wet sanded? I also want to say that I buffed the car as well, but surprisingly it didn't need it after the claying. Perhaps I can also include an estimate to apply wax to the affected panels as well.
What would be a realistic price to the above mentioned services itemized? Thanks.
