Need help with after-waxing problems

Hello there. I have a problem. Last time i used wax on my new car (it was a mix simoniz paste wax with turtle wax extreme cleaner and i also used mechanical simoniz rotation waxing tool for it) i came out pretty good and shiny, but when i washed my car two days ago i've noticed lots of white spots all over the car. those spots, as i assume, were eaten out by wax, and when i've removed the wax the paint came out with it, here are the pix of the spots, sorry my camera is not too good. So the question is: what am i suppose to do now? repaint? before it gets rusted and spread out or what???

Are they water spots? Try wiping off with a towel dampened with IPA --- Isopropyl Alcohol.

Could it be possible that those spots were there even before you purchased the vehicle, but were maybe concealed by a polish that was heavy with fillers?

I don't know about now, but years ago I tried some of the Simonize products but was not happy with the quality of the product. I also used to use a lot of the Turtle waxes but stopped using them because it was like trying to take cement off of paint. Have you tried using some of the Meguiar's waxes? I use the Gold Class and am pretty happy with how easy it is to apply and remove and with how good it looks on my paint.

Nay ve it is like that, but what am i suppose to do with it? should i repaint the whole hood???? Is it going to rust on me??? Or should i just rewax it with some other heavy filler wax?

As far as repainting goes, that's completely your decision. Go around and get some estimates and referrences until you find the right shop. I've got a ton of rock chips on my car and I live in a coastal city where everything oxidizes quickly, but I'm able to hold off any rusting with regular washing, waxing and now sealing.

Earlier on he said he uses Megs Gold Class.

Do you have acccess to a polisher? You should try polishing it and seeing what happens. Its kinda hard to see what it might be from the pics. It might be etching in the clear coat due to bird bombs, water, etc.

I sure hope your "wax" did not cause that problem.
