Ok well heres my story. I just picked up a Brand new 2008 G37 and as you know the detailers at most dealerships sucks and dont know what there doing, so i picked up the car friday 2/29/08 and noticed i have very light swirl marks everywhere on my car except on the hood (which i thought was weird) By the way it looks, they prob. used a dirty cash mitt when they cleaned it but anyway the color of the car is called Platium Graphite (very light gray) Since it is brand new i need nothing done except to remove these swirls, Thats it!!! Can anyone recommend a trusted detailer or would anyone like detailing it themselfs for a reasonable price?? I work at a Chevy dealership and can supply a huge heated shop for us to work in. I would buy the products and detail it myself but i never have used a PC before and dont trust myself on a Brand New car. All ive done was your normal wash and wax on cars before.

Any advice would help...

BTW - This is the exact color of the car if that needed

If they screwed it up I would have them not fix it but have it repainted.

We bought a new car in August and when we went to pick it up somebody had, I am assuming, backed it into something or brushed a cart or something into the back bumper that scraped a three inch section of paint off. It may have not even been an employee but it was in their care.

I threw a fit to say the least. By the time it was said and done we had the whole bumper repainted and got to meet with the manager of their service department. We haven't had to pay for an oil change yet.

The hood doesn't have any swirls because they left the plastic shipping sheet on the hood and maybe on the roof too. The swirls on the rest of the paint probably came from an attempt to wipe down the car before peeling of the plastic.

YES!!! Thats is exactly what i thought but there was plastic on the top of the car and trunk and there is where the most swirls are :furious:
