I've read through hundreds of posts on leather cleaning, but I'm starting to think my leather needs more than just simple cleaning.
The picture below is from a 2011 Lexus ES350 with semi-aniline coated leather. I originally thought it was just dirty, but now I am wondering if the coating is failing. It has light colored creases all over the bolster but otherwise has consistent color. I tried cleaning a small spot with a 10:1 woolite solution but no dirt came off and the creases turned black (I presume because the creases absorbed some moisture). When it dried, the creases were light again.
Can anyone advise on how to restore this? Does it need to be re-dyed?
