I am having paint issues on my '03 BMW X5. It's something I've been pushing off as I just did not have the time to give up the car for xxx weeks but now I need to get this taken care of.
Can someone please advise on what really is needed to PROPERLY fix the scope of the paint issues . Basically on all the outer edges of almost every panel, paint is thin/thinning to the point that I've got primer flaking off. The roof has a clear coat issue. On the hood, u can see how one spot is starting to rust as well.
Please see pics and feel free to ask away on any questions you may have.
The bodyshop that is doing the work is *meticulous* but I just wnat to know for my own reference since BMW NA may want to *skimp* on how the paint job is corrected.
