Need a swirl covering durable wax

i drive an 05 scion tC. Scions have terrible paint jobs on them, the clear coat is sprayed thin and it's go a decent degree of orange peal.



i wash my car correctly using the supplied e-manual on this site. of course i still develop swirls because of the cheap paint and i have a dark color (indigo ink pearl - dark blue)



i have klasse all in one on my car right now and i haven't waxed it. i'm trying to decide on a wax. i need suggestions first.

i would like a wax that is durable. i know that wax doesn't provide much durability when it comes to anything other than fresh microfiber touching the surface, but i want something that might help defend against swirls.



i would also like a wax that hides swirls, or at least attempts to. i don't own a pc, so i can't get them out. getting them out by hand will never happen. so, the next best thing to do is hide them.



i'm willing to layer 2 different waxes if needed.

by the way - please school me on how i'm washing my car or caring for my car wrong, with the wrong tools. i wash my parents car with the same "proper" tools and thier paint doesn't have swirls to it. it's just the scion paint

Locally I would recommend NXT (hides swirls very well and for me has lasted anywhere from 2-4 months on average.)
 
a tad expensive, but yeah, NXT gets my vote. durable and will make dark colours (yours) look perfect.
 
xnevergiveinx- I don't find P21S (basically the same as S100) to hide any marring.



I too would go with the NXT. Dunno about using #7 (and I'd use #3/#5/#81 instead anyhow) since you already have AIO on there. But a glaze like one of those would help quite a bit.



If the paint is so soft that it mars that easily, it oughta also be soft enough that you could improve it *a lot* by hand. I'd probably use Meg's #80 (which will do some hiding too), following with the NXT. #80 is pretty user-friendly by hand.



Heh heh, I've never seen *any* paint softer than the ss lacquer on my Jag, and I can wash it without marring. Maybe you oughta get a foamgun ;)

I would highly recommend the FK1 Pink Wax.



It's the only wax I have used that I would guarantee hides some swirls!

It really is great wax for this kind of situation. The more

you add, the less it reduces the swirl marks.
