It is not often that anything gets me excited like this, but I have to say that after much research, toil, frustration, amazement at how lame some people/places are, and so much more, I just bought an awesome mattress, box springs, and had the old set hauled away for - $ 1,269.00 out the door !!

This was a Queen size mattress and box spring set..

The Company is an On-Line only seller, with no showrooms, etc., for you to go lay on and have dozens of people stare at you like they do at any mattress store, right ???

It took awhile for me to get over the part that I had to absolutely see it, touch it, feel it, and lay on it, before I decided if it would be right for me or not..

I finally, pretty much out of frustration, etc., from going to 5 different stores around here in Folsom, decided that all the crap these people put you through is not worth the effort anyway, and to make it even sweeter, no one can beat this price or will give you a true 45-day no penalty try out of the product...

Along the way I have learned so much about what goes into a good bed and not so good one, and this has been another reason why I chose this company, and pulled the trigger, sight - unseen..

I have never been happier, I no longer wake up with back pain, and I am absolutely in love with this set up and actually look forward to going to bed at night now...

These are the nicest people you will ever meet in this industry, and they absolutely love what they do, and are not like the used-car-salesmen-types you find at most mattress stores today...

The name and address - America's Best Priced Luxury Mattresses - Saatva Mattress

Saatva - sanskrit word in this case meaning Purity -

They even paid the State tax for me...

No, I dont work for them, or get anything from them - except for the most blissful, uninterrupted, perfect sleep , that I apparently was not getting for years....

Our king sized pillow top bed is the best money I've ever spent. Their prices really aren't bad at all for such a nice product. Glad your happy with your purchase. Now you'll never be able to sleep anywhere but home.

VERY happy with the Ultimate Dreams Latex mattress we bought. Amazon only, paid $750 out the door for a king size.

I went through the same thing you did Dan, glad you found one you like. I'd shop till I drop, spend $3000 on a mattress set only to find that 6 months down the road it didn't feel like it did when I bought it. Heck it didn't even look the same as the two places my wife and I would lay wouldn't rebound when we weren't on it. The last one was a big dollar Serta. That was about 6 years ago at this point. I went to a Sleep by the Numbers mattress and haven't looked back. I'd do it again.

That is a great deal for that bed. I found a local mattress warehouse and was able to save a lot and there was only like one other person in there looking. The semi bad about it is right below.....

That is exactly the one I got. Still comfortable but crowns in the middle a lot so if you lay up towards the crown it feels like it wants to kick you down to the edges.

I bought a Sealy a few years ago. Went to Slumberland and tried it out and thought it felt great for only the minute or 2 you lay in it. got it home and of course after laying in it for about 5 minutes I sink into it a little and then it isn't that great. Of course I bought a close out model and I come to find out no warranty and can't return it since it was on sale. Never going to Slumberland and never buying another Sealy. Almost hate to throw another grand or more away so soon but I might have to. I looked into this mattress and I am looking for a firm one but hate to buy sight unseen. Just my thoughts.

Wow, I've been looking into replacing my Tempurpedic mattress and Saatva is at the top of the list. I'm considering thier Luxery Firm mattress. Which one did you get? How long have you had it?

Angus -

I got the Saatva Luxury Firm - the middle selection -
As you have read, they only sell 3 - Soft, Luxury Firm, and Firm..

It is perfectly flat - no dips, no ridges in the middle, etc...

They sew the Euro Pillow Top into the mattress from the bottom in a way that it is really tight and flat, and will never start to bunch up, etc., or change the shape, and get loose..

Have only had it 5 days, and Im sleeping so much better that I am not hearing the clock go off.. :)

This mattress is made in America, and they are heavy into using Green Initiative products as much as possible -

They make their own Foam (and all mattresses have a lot of it), using different products that DO NOT contain Formaldehyde...

First thing I noticed is that there is no Formaldehyde smell, and instead, it smells very faintly like raw cotton - very refreshing and not overwhelming, etc...

Once you put your mattress cover over the top, you dont pick this up any longer...

Since they dont have "Showrooms" etc., they can sell for less, so they do..

If you decide after a while, you dont like it, you can get them to come pick it up, and they dont charge all those extra Restocking Fees and stuff...

They give you 45 days to figure out if you are going to be ok with it - none of the people I dealt with at all these places said they would do this without some penalty, etc...

I am so glad that I did this !!!

Thanks for sharing, great tip to save some $$$ and get a quality product. The mattress/bedding business is the biggest "pull the wool over their eyes" industry ever. I know because I worked in it at the retail level. The markup is beyond belief. As an employee I was able to buy a $1695 mattress (only) for cost which was $400!!!
