Need a formula...New 2003 Silver Passat

Hey guys I just picked up a 2003 Reflex Silver passat.. In the week Ive owned it we've been blessed with like 40" of snow... I am planning on stripping the current wax(by dealers detailer) and start fresh. I was wondering if anyone recommended a certain mix for this particular car/color... Ive used Zaino in the past and have some left over but i want what will work best for my car, Id appriciate recommendations for places to purchase the recommended products...Id love your help....

The question you're asking is nearly impossible to answer, 'cause we don't know what you like and how much time you're willing to spend on your car.

May I suggest you download the first 8 chapters FOR FREE of David's Detailing guide and /or search this forum.

I'm pretty sure you will gather lots of info you can use

Hey Zack, congrats on the color choice. I too have a silver vehicle. Here is a photo of my truck last week. I had just finished putting Klasse AIO x 2 and Klasse SG x 3 topped with Pinnacle Paste Glaz on it. In the direct sun it looks really bright and clear and when the sun starts to go down, it gives a really nice glow.(Just like the picture.) I used my PC to apply and remove all except for the PPG and it was really easy. Good Luck.

I love Klasse on silver. I have AIO and 4x SG on our 4Runner and it makes the Millenium silver look so good. I like the look of it so much I am undecided if I should use a carnuba topper.



I have Klasse on my red F150 and will be trying S100 as a topper this spring :D
 
those all look good it seems to be Klasse is the fav here im thinking about that topped with S100... all preceded by a nice clay job. I appriciate your help id love to see more pics!

I have a new 2003 Golf ( Reflex Silver naturally )

Stock paint is high quality but I clayed, which it needed,

and then use plain old S100. I personally don't think anything under the S100 will improve the shine.

Just my opinion.
 
I'm pretty familiar with Reflex Silver and have just about every wax product at my disposal...
