Natural Look Saves Discolored Wiper Arms

The idiots that buffed the paint on my WRX a while back got compound splatter all over the flat back painted wiper arms and up until now, nothing would remove the residue. That's when I decided to apply some Natural Look to them to see what it would do for the heck of it. Completely removed/blended the stains. Now it doesn't look like I have 10 year old wiper arms on a ten week old car. Not much of a tip or trick, but it may prove useful to someone, no? :naughty :D
 
i normally take them off and paint them black. but thats a good tip i guess if you don't want to get out the paint.
 
That is a good thing tyo do allways. I usually take natural look or the exces off the wheels with a sponge and wipe the wipers. Now if the customer wants to make it a lasting finnish then I take them off and paint them. But that's not for free. :hippi
 
Yah, I do that too, but only thing you get is streak. Do you polish after you apply PB NL? I use Meg HD, it works like a charm. I apply it then few min later I polish it, if you dont u atrract dust.
 
If it can resist the elements, sounds like a great alternative to re painting the wiper arms.
 
Interesting tip. Never thought to use NL for that application. It will be interesting to see how it holds up. Didn't it add some gloss to the flat black finish? I have read where AIO does a good job cleaning and protecting, but I guess that would be for arms that are not flat finished.
