Natty's Blue Questions?

Bigs

Weekend Detailer!
I have never used Natty's Blue and I wasn't able to answer someone on my car club. These are the questions she had...

Question -- my Poorboys Natty Blue wax just arrived. It's quite "solid" and pulled away from the sides of the jar. Is that okay? For some reason I figured it would be soft, not hard.

One more question -- does this wax leave a white residue on black trim? Let me know so I can take precautions.

Thanks for the input!

That's not unusual. It also makes it very easy just to swipe the applicator across and get a very thin film. I don't like it when a wax is creamy.

Both my Natty's Blue and the regular Natty's are this way. Why would this person think that it would be soft?

I have not had either Natty's leave any white residue on the trim.

It's a paste wax, so its going to have an apperance of being solid. Once you start to apply it to the applicater it will seem to soften up. You should only give it a light rub, so you are able to apply thin coats. As far as the trim goes I don,t know. You should always use precautions no matter what product you are applying. I would just tape those areas off to be safe. Nattys is a great LSP.

Well, for some reason, she expected it being softer. It's quite hard to comment because I have never used the product. Although, all paste waxes that I have used were like that...

Thanks everyone for the input! :bigups

Mine was separated from the side but I figured that as due to heat exchange from the time that they put it in the can and it cooled. I did notice that once I started using it and it warms up that it relaxes...In the summer I don't see this at all

Film on trim I've not really seem much, but on the grainy type trim you want to be careful there and wax will get in that type
