:chris: I love CMW but im looking for a paste wax. I heard raves about blue and souveran. But i would like ot see pictures to compare them. Also which one do you recomend for price, wetnes, depth, clarity ? :boat:

Bang for the buck, I think Nattys blue is the best carnuba paste wax around. It has all the qualities you are seeking for 1/4 of the price of Souveran, and it works extremely well on all colors, not just dark. Smells great too.The only wax I like better than Nattys Blue (and only on black) is Trade Secret from Top of the Line when I want deep Carnuba glow. Rumor has it that it is Souveran in a different package for only $36.

I have to agree. Souveran is nice, probably the best combo of depth, wetness, clarity and reflectivness, but for a 1/4 of the cost you can come really close with Natty's. It's a little less reflective, but wetter.

Kind of can't go wrong for the price. Even if you hate it, and you won't, it's under $20 so it's tough to beat. Enjoy!

I don't have any good pictures, but I use PS on my black Mustang and I cant imagine using anything else. It is the wettest and deepest I've ever seen, but it was very expensive.

i guess natty's will be the one :box:

Good choice. I don't use wax very often, but when I do it's Blue! If you don't already have a preferred vendor, get it from autogeek.net.

so how would you apply the natty blue wax by hand or PC and how would you take it off? how long before you take natty off the car after apply?

I apply by hand using a damp applicator. I don't do circles, but back and forth, as thin as I can--sometimes just enough wax to break the light and disturb the reflection. I wait an hour, but that may not be necessary. I remove with a microfibre towel folded several times so I'musing a clean towel on most panels.

I think Souveran is the King of Carnaubas. :)

Still Blue Nattys is terrific bang for buck and does come somewhat close. Not quite as wet or deep but very wet & deep anyway. Also works well on metallics.

I would suggest buying an ultrafine mf applicator from PakShak for best results from Blue or Souveran.

will you get better result if you remove wax with the PC? i know it easier to remove by hand.

How about sealant is it better to remove my PC or hand also?

sorry for all the dumb question but this weekend will be the first time i detail me car. I order over 400 bucks worth of stuff from autogeek (mostly poorboy), so i want to go over every detail steps.

thanks

Remove by hand but spray S&G on the wax before you remove it and buff it off. You thought it was shiny before, this brings a new level of pop to the car. You can then go over the car with a PC and an MF bonnet (speed 3) to ramp up the gloss even more.

tubafreak said it well (or intimated it anyway)--Natty's can be removed easily by hand and the protection is the same no matter what. But power buffing by hand or machine and with a glossy lube can increase the shine.

I thend to think that in 3 or 4 weeks the shine result is the same.

what is a glossy lube guys S&G? does poor boys have something in this line. And also is natty blues wax better then NXT. I was wondering i want the deepest and wettest looking paint i can get. I am ordering the swirl remover from poorboy soon. And was wondering what would compliment it thanx

Jason - Yes, S&G is good for this step, and yes Nattys Blue is better than NXT in my opinion. If you haven't already ordered, there are a number of products that will compliment the PB swirl remover. Call one of the site's sponsors and they can assist you in piecing together a nice set of products.
