I bought a prepaid napster card from target for 25 bucks. This gives me 3 months of unlimited downloads. I can't burn them onto cd. No big deal to me. The big deal is that I entered the code on the card to enter me for 3 months. It entered and I was off downloading. 4 days later all my songs are gone and I cannot download any more songs. When I re-enter the pin it says that the pin has been used.

Ive contacted napster with about 5-10 emails and they have been absolutly no help whatsoever. When I emailed them with the problem I would get a reponse like check the online help. I got sick of it and sent a pretty mean letter to them asking why they avoid helping me. finally they gave me the number for customer service ( # only available for those who pay monthly ). The guy on the phone coudlnt figure out why it didnt work. So I emailed them again to see what they will do. Im sure it will never work again.

Bottom LIne: DONT USE NAPSTER, SPREAD THE WORD. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST EVER.

go yahoo its got more features and faster downloads then napster at a fraction of the price...i think its like 50 a year for unimited songs...but like napster or any of those kind of services u must pay for each song if you want to put them on a CD or mp3 player....unless ur mp3 player is compatable to there service. otherwise its like 79 cents a song.
 
I say steal music, use Kazaa or Morpheus or whatever, since everyone else is doing it, you might as well too.

u can always downlaod the song. from napster and pay to download monthly. if u wish to burn to a cd then u can always downlaod a napster crack and import them into a folder in u're harddrive and do what u want from there.
 
yes limewire is stealing. if you look at there home page it says this program is not for sharing of copyrighted material.

another good thing about the legal programs is that their is now mistyped titles. you always get what you want not somthing else.
 
Update: I emailed napster back and told them that the phone thing didnt work. They sent me back a reply as if I was asking how to retreive my password that I forgot. I emailed them back and asked If they actually cared about there customers and that I would really like some REAL help. They emailed me back the phone number that didnt work... again. So they dont really have somenoe there helping you they just choose pre typed messages to fill in... even if they have nothing to do with your problem. Im going to call again and give it another shot. I think Im going to have to be a pita to get anything done on the phone.

Ok finally got someone to help me and now im back using napster. CS still sucks but if you send about 20 emails and call them about 5 times you will eventually find some who can help.
