Ok so this is gona be long, first of all, let me introduce the car. Its a 1995 Acura Integra LS Special i got for 2000 bucks, body was beat up big time, it was owned by a ...woman (so it had dents and hits all over LOL) and it appears the biggest hit she took, she possibly had 18 cups of dunkin donuts coffee in the car, as well as an industrial size box of tic tacs.
Anyhow, when i initially started tearing the car down for the full repaint from green to nighthawk black pearl, it was vacuumed, and the original carpet was tossed.
Its scheduled to be painted within the next 3 weeks, limco base/clear, using limco high solids 4100 clear, im not even close to the research on the cut, compound, and polish aspect of it, so im just here to discuss interior.
I have a used carpet i bought off a guy, he stripped the whole interior out of another teg for me for 140, the carpet is a bit dirty, but not beyond saving, the door panels have some...either soda or coffee dripping on them, and overall my dashboard and headliner which are still in the car are just covered in body filler from all the sanding. I also have brand new 110 dollar integra branded floor mats i purchased that im looking to scotch guard.

My questions are outlined as follows...
What should i be using to first "clean" the interior pieces free of dirt and debris before i actually use a protectant?
What steps should i be taking to bring new life back to this old used carpet that is already out of the car?
What should i be using to clean the original factory genuine leather seats of black grime and grease, etc?
How should i go about scotch guarding the new floor mats?
I bought 00 steel wool, will this remove overspray of primer on windows?
