Jimmy--
First of all, I think it's incredible that you got jimmybuffit.com--what a score! You should see if there are people who will pay for click through ads in your links (aka "Radio Margaritaville") area. I would think there would be a lot of fan traffic through your site and maybe online music vendors, Margaritaville and Cheeseburger-in-Paradise restaurants, and even other fan sites might like the exposure.
Besides that, I agree with some of the comments about the first page loading a little slow. I would at least move the countdown bar to the center of the screen where people will notice it, instead of wondering why there's just a blank screen there.
On the home page, I would also suggest pictures or text in the click on boxes at the bottom of the page. Scroll-overs are cool, but until you point at 'em you have no idea why those boxes are there.
As for the copy, here's what I noticed:
1. Under Full Service Detail>Engine Cleaning: You mention "all parts dressed with water-based dressing." I would just add a few words to explain why (i.e. "to avoid any dangers presented by the heat of the engine"). Adding that also clarifies that you are talking only about dressings used in the engine bay and not that you might use less-durable dressings on exterior trim.
2. Under Full Service Detail>Wheel wells, wheels, and tires: I would suggest adding a brief description of what's done and what types of products may be used. It just seems that you are very descriptive elsewhere, but skipped this area. I think people would be as interested to know that you can get baked on brake dust off as that you don't use steam pressure on the engine.
3. Under Full Service Detail>Interior: You state "guaranteed odor free." That seems like an invitation to complainers. There is always going to be some kind of smell, whether from an air-freshener you use or another product such as the trim dressing or leather conditioner. I would simply use the adjective '"absolutely" instead of "guaranteed," and maybe specify that you are solely referring to the carpet or upholstery fibers themselves.
4. Under Full Service Detail>Exterior: I think that your reference to using "aggressive" compound might seem scary to some people--especially those who may believe that compounds are hazardous to clear coat paint jobs. I would substitute "professional-grade" or "highest-quality," instead, and put the word "polishes" before "compounds." This will also tie back when they later read your warnings to observe other shops' stock of "consumer-grade" products like Turtle Wax.
I also observed your statement about the sealant, and was wondering what sealant you are using and where the "three times longer than carnauba" claim came from. I'm not doubting anything, just wondering.
Also, I realize you are trying to play to your strengths, but I was a little surprised to see the absolutely dismissive attitude of your thoughts on mobile detailers. Especially knowing the quality of work done by some mobile guys on this board. I'm not a pro, so I take no offense, but I just found it funny.
All in all, great site. Congrats on it, and I hope it brings you a lot of business.
