I've been checking out this site for a while now and finally joined a few months back. I love all the information it provides so I thought I would post up my truck as my first post.
I detailed it over a span of 3 days. Not a full days work on each day, but I did get a lot done. I have neglected the truck for quite some time now with doing cars for other people. There were tons of swirl marks and scratches all over this thing that made me sick looking at it.
It took me over 3 hours just to wash all the mud off of it that I got on during some rain. Well, it wasn't exactly the rains fault... Anyways, I use a foam gun which helped out a lot.
On the second day, I clayed the whole truck, which needed it badly. I then went over the whole thing with Optimum Compound on a PC. After that I went over the truck with Poorboy's Polish w/ Sealant. I then took the time to dress all the trim and clean up the chrome. Polished the wheels and cleaned the glass before calling it a night due to lack of light.
Next morning I sprayed it down with Poorboy's Spray n Gloss to clean whatever could be on the paint up.
I then went over the truck with Migliore Fine Wax, which a friend of mine makes. I had never used this before and it worked out great! It got parts of my truck to shine that I have never gotten to do so before. Overall I am overly satisfied with the product and cant wait to use more of it. It will probably be a long time before I'll use it on my truck again, but it's worth it.
Ok, so enough babbling right?? Here's some pictures:
