Sigh...my sister pour a bucket of water on the car to rinse to car, then used a sponge to wash my car. She said my car wash too dirty for her to ignore, so she wash it with "hard" pressure and not using any car wash. Only water and pressure the sponge to wash my car, then finally pour another bucket of water on the car when she finished.

My car only have 1x AIO and 2 layers of SG.

Should I expected to see my car full of swirl, micro-scratches, and water spots when I return from my businese trip in January ?

Sort of upset to hear that my sister "wash" my car on her own " good will ".

If it was only dust, you might have swirls only in the SG layers, and be able to fix by reapplying AIO to remove the SG. Worse comes to worse, you're just going to have to get out the PC and SMR. Nothing you can do about now, so don't even worry about it, but don't let her wash it again, especially without carwash!

Well, I guess the 'damage' will depend on how dirty the car was when she sponged it down with water. My guess is that the problems will be minimal and will be easily repaired with a quick polishing. I'd suggest giving your sister better wash instructions (send he to autopia) and not worry about it too much.

;)

:shocked OMG!! This is the "worst case scenario" - sponge AND no car shampoo AND heavy pressure!!

I sure hope 2wheelsx2 is right about it being in the Klasse layers, but I found out how bad a little unlubed dust rubbed into the paint can go through even Klasse, which is not a very thick coating relative to anything else anyway....

I know the feeling, my sister did that once, well she used soap though. I nearly had a heart attack. I would expect, waterspots, dirty doorjambs/trunkjambs and some swirls, especially on a dark colored car.
