My scratched and grimey car... 56k :P

usdm

I'll figure it out....
The car is now swirled all to heck, even if you can't see it in

the picks. Oddly, the swirls did not show under shop lighting,

and the marring was extremely light in the sun. But after

a snapshot, with the flash, it all came shining through:scared

Anyay, I decided not to sweat that detail for now, and worry

about the next thing, being the long scratch mark down

the car.

I'm not sure what it was, but I managed to make short

work of it with some polish, some cut pads and finish pads.

No pics of the indoor work as I was pressed for time.

The pics show the the car before any real work was done.

After pics show the car after the polish and second wash.

I wanted to show how well the qd I was using managed to

keep beading and slough off some of the salt and grime on

the paint. I ran out of memory so i can't show you how bad the

marring is under flash, but it's pretty nasty. I suspect it may

have to do with how I was trying to apply one of the express

qd's. Anyway. I'll deal with that next year:D

Thanks for the compliment.

On the light spots, I used FPII, and on the harder spots,

I used 3m FCRC, and then followed with FPII. The FPII was

done with polish pad, and the 3m was done with the

light cut pad. Both done on Makita d/a.
