My New Car...pics of delivery and detailing questions....

Here is the snake I finally picked up this Friday. Soooo bad a$$. Anyway, it was sitting in snow forever and who knows what they used to clean it when the decided to over the winter before I bought it.



I did notice a few minor swirls and just need the proper process. I was goign to clay then not sure for a compound/polsih and I was thinking doing Klasse Twins with Souvern or P21s....first black car ever so not sure what will work. PLease let me know who to do for this for BEST results.

Without seeing the car in person, it is hard to say. You might want to go through C-MDXs thread about his upcoming delivery of a black MDX.



You may need to clay the horizontal surfaces and the severety of the swirls will determine the best polish to use to remove them. Start with something like Meguiars Swirl Free and go up in aggressiveness only if necessary.



The Klasse twins topped with NXT would be a good way to finish it off.

You might want to try the Menzerna twins, then Klasse twins, then P21s/Souveran.
 
By the way, the term 'best' is very subjective. You might want to experiment a bit once the paint is properly prepped.

So Klasse topped witj NXT will do better then like Klasse Twisn topped wih Souvern or P21S/S100

You'd have to be the judge of that. I have no idea exactly what you are looking for. I just know that in my experience, NXT looks very good over both AIO and AIO/SG.
 
I am a long time user of Zaino on mineral grey (browny grey) and I got a really kick *** look to it. For black I want deep, rich and wet looking. Would be nice to have some of the reflection that something like zaino gave.



To get this i think I need a synthetic like Klasse, or Zaino or NXT topped with a Carnuba...just not sure what Combo will give the look i am going for
