My goodie bag for car shows....

JB - That looks great!

I was able to find the cases on the Container Store site, but could not locate the foam inserts. Your setup is just what I need for my emergency detailing kit. Could you please give me a pointer or a link to the inserts?

The black foam inserts are part number 65045. http://www.containerstore.com/browse/Product.jhtml?CATID=268&PRODID=61244

This link actually shows blue foam and only one section of the foam, but the part number is correct (as I have one still in the wrapping).

The foam has 3 parts......a thin base foam, a one inch sheet with "cubes" and a quilted sheet like in the link.

The sheet with "cubes" allows you to pull out sections (cubes) to make any shape. Each cube is approx 2cm x 2cm x 1 inch thick.

In my setup I used a base sheet and a cube sheet, in both the bottom and top of the case, and therefore didn't use the quilted sheets. From memory you may need to trim the foam a little to get it to fit in the lid, but it fits perfect in the base. The small cases are 17" x 14" x 4-1/2" Black Case Item # 10014001

You will also need to get some special foam glue (3M makes one). One tip is to plan the cut-outs well......I did a few prototypes first!

By the way...love the bottles you have.....great labels. I guess thats an idea to improve my bottles! Apart from looking great, it will make them way easier to identify in a rush.

What type of labels did you print on to?

JB - Thanks for the link to the foam and the heads-up about the planning!

I drew the labels in Corel Draw, printed them on Avery 2186 floppy disk labels, and used 2 wide Scotch Tape on the front of the labels to make them prettier and to protect them.
