Hello everyone...Well my garage baby (2000 Volvo S70 w/24k miles) has now turned into my daily driver within the past week with an acceptance of a new job...I use AIO/SG and 303 religiously on the car... 2-3 coats of SG I though did the trick for the garage baby...But !!!...Now it is the daily driver...60 miles per day in heavy Tampa traffic...Well..my question is...How much is good for a daily driver...and how much protection is too much or not needed.....For example...I hate rock chips on the bumpers and I load it up with SG hoping it will act like a "shell" over the front painted plastic bumpers??? Does this Make sense??...Anyhow... any advice for a daily commuting car that has been babied for 3 years ?..Thanks ...Lance

My cars are daily commuters and outside 24 / 7 as well. In the spring / summer / fall I wash at least once a week, and always keep everything well protected (sealant, wheels, dressings, etc). In the winter months, I ride out the durability of the paint sealant and wash whenever the weather cooperates, usually at least once every 3 weeks or so.

Nothing will protect against rock chips except a clear bra, so I would look into that if you are worried about it.

I have seen that clear bra before...its like a clear tape on the front of hood and front bumper...any links for more info on this stuff?.....Im sure it needs to be put on by a pro...reminds me of that "Ski Saver" tape to protect the top of snow skis..but on front bumpers and hoods
