I just put on a fresh coat of FK 2180 topped with FK 1000P (after wash and clay of course) and wanted to go for a canyon drive so I took the camera. Here some shots. Nothing too special, but I'm really happy with the way that FK combo makes the red look. I know it needs to be polished, but I'm too busy and I'm going to wait until the spring, which comes around Feb. here in SoCal.

Absolutely amazing! 1000p was just starting to peak my interest and was hoping to see some pictures like this. It appears to have a nice warm liquid glow..Is this how you would describe it as well? Thank you very much for sharing the pictures, the car looks great!!

Thanks for the compliment. I have taken pictures before in the sun and they came out looking almost orange. The FK made it look like it has a pearl coat almost. Much warmer and certainly more liquid. Thanks again.

Here's another good one, I wasn't going to show it because of my stupid shadow, the wax residue I missed on the splash guard, and the wheel wells had to wait to get dressed until after my drive. But you guys are being nice, so...

WOW! I want to take everything off my red truck and redo it the exact way you just did!!!! That is SICK!!!!:woot:

Thank you, thank you, and thank you. BTW I ordered a 15oz can of 1000p and they also sent me a sample tin of it, so if anyone wants to trade for a sample of something I don't have, I'd be glad to.

The car is great. Could use a twin turbo, but I love it. If you are looking in the spring, the new model comes out mid '07. wait for it.

~1000p sample traded~

Heikes how hard is the 1000p to apply and remove.

Combo gives bright but natural look to it

Very good:spot

This is the second time I've used it, and what I learned from the first mistake is that you want to remove the first panel or two after applying a couple more. I did the whole car the first time and by then it was hard as hell to remove. But go a couple panels at a time and it's the best paste I've used.

i always apply the whole car with a pc and 4" pad very thin then by the time iGet around the car I start removing it where I started it buffs off extremely easy
