My first time...

I dont really think this should be here because I am not braging but I want to show everyone my first polishing experience



Well I just got my Danase complete detailing kit from Dave... THANKS DAVE!!! and I couldn't wait to use my stuff so I took my tailgate off and polished it in the basement.





So I washed it with Dawn, Clayed it, I started with the SAII but then decided it was worth trying SAIII. So..



I did SAIII with the sonix 1 pad



SAII with Sonix 2



and SAI with sonix3



Wet Glaze



then Sealant.



All danase products.







It didn't come out perfect but I was a little scared with being my first time and on my black paint but I am pretty happy, it looks way better in person than my crappy pics.

I can't wait to do the whole truck.
 
Hey, that came out really nice! What machine did you use? However, you lost me on part of that...who is Dave, and what is a Sonix pad?
 
Sorry things were getting fuzzy last night I guess. The pads were the sonus SFX pads. Dave is the owner of the Detail Shoppe he is who I purchased my products from, I just copied my post from another forum that he is a supporting vendor of.



The machine I used was the Ultimate Detailing Machine, Thanks Alot
