My First time detailing a car using a PC

OUCH

Wanted to play with my new toys, so I offered to detail my friends car who paid me for my services and gave me free lunch and dinner :D

His car has never seen polish nor wax since the past 4-6 years he's had it. So I cleaned the car with Dawn, and then claybarred it, I did half and he did the rest :) His car used to look cream white like almost brownish of some sort so we both thought it's Pearl White, hahaha :lol

Till I got done with Claybar, Paint Cleaner, Polish Sealant and here's what we came up with..

The white car behind is MY baby.. :D

Not bad for a Newbie huh :D

UPDATE.. Scroll below, I just realized I am NOT happy with the gloss and shininess, I feel I should've gotten a better result for using a machine, I think I could've achieved the same shininess n gloss with just my bare hands

Thanks :) After I got done with the Paint Cleaner it was reflecting everything but it wasn't glossy or wet looking and then I started using AIO and I still wasn't noticing much difference from before and it was really starting to piss me off... So I was blah whatever atleast I can return it... So I took the car out of the garage and I was like DAYUM :lol what happened here? Look at that car, it's glossy :D

Just realized something, I'm not very happy with the results, I want it glossier and shinier and more wet looking, what else can I do to improve this?

My best bet at this is that your car was in pristine shape before you started the process, and a PC could not improve the results you allready had.

Actually car was in pretty bad shape, like it had rust spots all over and the surface was very dull.. I dunno I guess I'm just expecting too much, especially after seeing what some of you guys have done here. :nixweiss

OUCH could you clarify the products you vaguely refer to in the first post that you used?

If you're not satisfied with the results you might want to try polishing it again or use something slightly stronger. It's usually all in the prep, but white is a colour that will never look quite as deep or wet as a darker colour in most lighting conditions. It's just the nature of the colour and my silver car is nearly as bad...

Oops sorry bout that. Well first I used Clay Magic Claybar, and then I used Meguiars Step 1 Paint Cleaner and then Klasse AIO :)
